GOGOGI KOREAN GRILL BOULEVARD (REVIEW) - Soft Opening Gogogi West Surabaya (Surabaya Barat). Tasted Weird????

Wrote this intro just right after I went home from having Korean BBQ with my boo~ 👦🎀 Yesterday(14th of August '20) a new popular Korean AYCE BBQ - Gogogi Korean Grill just held their soft opening promotions which are now continuing extend or even replace their old promotions with the NEW BETTER ONE! Yesterday it cost IDR 67,5k/pax and the new promo it only cost IDR 66,7k/pax(t&c apply, till 23rd of August '20). Okay without any further ado let's scroll down to see some photo galleries I took there, yay~! ❤️❤️❤️

Gogogi located beside Propnex and above King Coil store(?).

Still in the same land, having the same paking lots.

The new building of Gogogi Korean Grill Boulevard, Surabaya, was located right beside Propnex Real Estate Agency. Also it placed on the second floor above King Coil store(?). The parking lots were soo wide enough and also there were few parking officers that can help you find a parking space.

Because of some reasons, I don't take their soup but only the beef for grill. But at the end I just realized that they also served Odeng/Eomuk after I walk by to leave 😟😔😖

Here are 3 types of Banchans that they have. Baby Potato which is for me tasted so so. Japchae or Korean Glass Noodle which is also tasted plain and made me not interested to finish my 2 spoonful of this. Also the last is their Korean Fried Chicken which I asked their waiter about the size and indeed their chicken sized smaller than I thought use to be. Just like a broken piece of Karage but crispy and the smell of ginger is strong.

They also provided complementary materials like these. Kimchi, Mushroom(Champignon), Onions, Garlic, and Watercress. As you know Korean People always eat grilled meat while wrapped 'em with leaves(Perilla/Lettuce) then put the beef inside and some of them add garlic too to the wrap.

For beverage they only provided Lemon Tea and Lemonade but for me both of them tasted the same 😱😱😱. Meanwhile all this time I know that Lemonade is kind of beverage made from Lemon 🍋🍋 and Water only. Am I wrong? 🤔 Why the text wasn't match the content? 🤔🤔 Hmm..... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.............. And for additional info, no water and other beverages here in Gogogi Boulevard when I came.

So the rest of this post are all about the sweet-aesthetic moments of grilling the beef. Yes, I'm the one who busy taking pictures, recording a video for my YT content while my boyfriend grilled the beef for me HAHA *evil laugh* I'm busy right.......busy eating the cooked meat! *excuses* 🤣🤣

I only took a really little amount of Banchans that they served but I end up not even finish half of 'em.

Pro - Cons

(+) Wide Parking Lot(+) Comfortable Atmosphere (place)(-) Their place is really really small and the table is only half of my desk table :( I think they should provide wider table so that we can feel more comfortable while eating.(-) Maybe because they just open and a lot of ppl come over so that they're still panicking to serve their many customer, I found out they gave us(me and my boo) a dirty table and it took around likely 10 to 15 minutes for the staff to come and take the used utensils. But we still need to clean by ourselves the stains on table and the chair. How bad! 😭😭

HARRIS CAFE GUBENG X'MAS MARKET : Christmas Dinner 2019

Festive season is coming yayy! This is my most favourite month of the year.. but last year wasn't because of something bad started in the same month in last year and ended in this year at my 2nd favourite month of the year, February.. hahaha forget it, back to topic. Today(3rd of Dec) I was invited to join in Harris Gubeng X'Mas Market event which is held to welcome Christmas.

So happy to be here. A lot of cute decorations which were increasing my mood! 😍

Good Vibes.

First, I'd like to share some photos about Harris Cafe Gubeng sweets corner. All the wall painted in Christmas theme! And I love their cakes considering almost 90% of my foodie friends said if Harris has a really good Sweet Corner. All the cakes are delicioso!

Like choux, but I think the name written was different.

Girls problem : "Eat sweet want savoury then after that cravings for another sweets again" SO TRUE, HAHA!

Then as always, you can find the live cooking near the entrance. Because I think I had too much carbs today so I only took their Dimsum and Hainan Chicken Rice but without rice hoho. The Miànbāo or meatbun tasted so soft! Also loved the chicken because of its skin...... OMG I didn't even want to share it with my boyfriend earlier! hahahaha 🤣🤣

Live Cooking situation.

Okay then let's move to the main area where you can find a lot of Main Course consist of seafood, chicken, and vegetables. You can also find Kwetiauw at this time! Oh myyyy favourite~ In this X'mas Market event the main course seems to be less than the Eid Al-Fitr. As long as I remember, there were two aisles for main course. But today I only found one.

I have tried all the Main Course in here. But for me and my boo, the.. fish(?) tasted too sour.

Mie Kembang Jepun : Kuliner Maknyuss untuk Keluarga di Jalanan Memorabilia Surabaya

Siapa sih yang ngga kenal jalanan pecinan yang sempat ngehits di awal era 2000-an ini? Yup, Kya Kya Surabaya. Jalan ini mulai naik daun pada tahun sekitar 2003 yakni saat pertamakali dibuka pas born day-nya Kota Pahlawan ini.

Dulu waktu tempat ini masih HOT, aku sering banget berkunjung ke sana cuma untuk sekedar makan malam dan jalan santai bersama keluarga besar ♥️. Pilihan makanannya banyak dan hiasan lampionnya sungguh memikat hati. Sayang kini tempat tersebut sudah tak seindah dulu lagi ☹️☹️. Walaupun demikian, betapa beruntungnya masih ada spot makan favorit yang menyajikan masakan Cina yang Haojek Pwuoll ini. Setelah menunggu cukup lama, semangkuk Es Campur(IDR 15.000) dan Es Kacang Ijo(IDR 8.000) mulai disajikan di atas meja putih di hadapan kami.

"Ce, satenya enak!! Dagingnya empuk, nyoh cobaen.." Kata sodara sepupuku yang doyan banget makan Zhūròu(猪肉) atau si PatKai temannya Sun Go Kong ini. Indeed guys, dagingnya guede-gede bangettt. Nggak rugi deh pokoknya!

Lo Mie (IDR 38.000)

Doyananku yang paling ngangenin apalagi waktu nulis posting ini adalaaahhh si Lo Mie-nya. Katanya yang papolit di sini sih ya Lo Mie dan He Mie. Lo Mie dengan kuah yang lebih coklat kental (jika dibandingkan dengan He Mie yang kuahnya lebih bening dan rasanya light) dan rasa yang juga rich bikin lidah bergoyang. Godaan banget waktu harus ngedit foto ini nihh.. Kayaknya harus langsung cuss pesan Gojek sekarang *ups*.

Anyway guys, just FYI sekarang kalau kalian galau mau cari makanan legendaris macam ini, atau pusing pala berbi mau jalan ke luar kota tapi bingung kuliner yang pas buat dicobain kalian juga bisa cek di website qupas.id nihh.
